What a stupid, waste of talent loser Daly is.

The caddie of a prominent (and a major winner) player stated recently that virtually all of the tour players consider Daly to be "White-Tr*sh".

Winn grips could have picked a better spokesman for their grips. I'll stick with Golf Pride.

My opinion of this is two fold. First, Daly has never focused on golf the way he should, which has caused a lot of problems.

With that said Butch Harmon needed to keep his big mouth shut. He has no right to publicly say anything about Daly. He was not present at the event that Gruden caddied for Daly part of a round. He was not present in the tent during the rain delay at that event. He was not present in the Hooter's tent after the event finished.

Also, I really, and I'm sure Daly agrees, could car less if other people on the Tour consider him ****. Daly has never seemed like a person who really cares if other people like him, however there is a difference between not being liked and being publicly blasted by someone who wasn't present at and event.

Has Daly wasted a lot of his talent? Yep, but that is his choice to do so.

The ironic thing in all this is that in any other sport Daly would have gone bye-bye long ago, but because of the hero-worship aspect that so many people have for him coupled with the nature of the game and fact that the sponsors and tournament hosts can grease their pockets in a big way is a controlling feature of keeping Daly showing up at tournaments despite him having no status on tour and despite the knowledge that he is not a model creature by any stretch. It all comes down to a freak show and money.

Harmon is a jerk. he worked with Daly for a brief amount of time, split and then bashed him publicly. That behavior stinks of a classless egomaniac.

What is Tiger's opinion on this story?

Daly's a fat stupid slob and needs to go away. Collapsing on the course of a massive heart attach would be a fitting end to this buffoon. Harmon called it exactly right.

If I hear one more ******* story about Mickelson's practice schedule before a major tournament, when he then goes on to shoot in the high 70's and misses the cut, I swear I'm going to smash my T.V. with a sand wedge.
