Receiver picks Gamecocks
Camden County wide receiver DeAngelo Smith decided to commit to South Carolina, despite emerging interest from Georgia and Florida. Smith, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound senior, also declined offers from East Carolina, Indiana, and Illinois, among others.

Perhaps he was educated to the fact that the best case scenario for him to play was at So. Carolina rather than at talent-laden schools like Georgia or Florida who simply stockpile talent to sit on their benches and wait their turn, ya think?

Might as well play in the armpit of the south for the once great coach who can't get it done without a large school like UF to pay their players better than other schools. He just wanted to get paid more money. I can't blame him.
