Dolphins quarterback Josh McCown vowed to quit using chain saws while he's still an NFL quarterback, but that pledge appears to be a few weeks too late. McCown, whose family owns a sawmill business in east Texas, cut the index finger on his throwing hand during an accident involving a chain saw July 3. The injury happened when McCown and his brother, Tampa Bay quarterback Luke McCown, were trying to clear brush and tree stumps surrounding the family's lakefront home in Jacksonville, Texas.

Josh, can't you afford a "yard boy"? I work cheap.....plus, I'm already missing both of my hands, and my right big toe and I see things a little blurry in both my eyes, on the weekends especially. I'd be perfect for this job!

The story I read yesterday said his brother had the chain saw when the accident happened.

According to my sources someone told me that they saw his cousin holding the the chain saw 3 days ago.

well since he has no arm, it would be kind of weird if he just had a hand floating around.

i applied for a landscaping job when i was younger.
the guy asked me if i had any problem with using dangerous tools like chainsaws and wood chippers.
i asked him if he had all his fingers and toes.
then i saw the bandage on his hand.
it turns out he had office duty because he had cut off his second finger and it was still healing.

Yea but you have to remember they're both just mediocre quarterbacks in the NFL I don't think they wanna spend that kind of money when they could just do it theirselves..

For a second I thought his index finger was actually cut off O.o
