The Suns' options at backup point guard next year appear to have been further limited after second-round pick Goran Dragic told a Spanish newspaper that he expects to remain with Tau Ceramica for next season. "It is certain that the Suns wanted to have me, but I believe that the best thing for me is to go to Spain and try to find a place for myself in Baskonia," Dragic, translated from Spanish, told El Correo newspaper on Thursday.

DJ Strawberry is still our best option at point. Screw those other FA PG's. I think he can get it done.

Strawberry is a SG, not a PG in NBA

all the suns need is some one to spell Steve Nash for 10-15 minutes a game at most. there are lots of viable options for people to throw the ball down low to Amare' and Shaq when Nash is resting on the bench.

idiots, strawberry is not a point, where would you get that from.

Okay, that's the goal of the Sun's pick this year _ to find a place for himself in a place called "Baskonia"??? The Suns are goint to be GREAT with this guy!!

In fact, they should just bring him over here because Shaq is usually trying to find a place in Basking & Robins anyway.

July 19, 2008  03:09 PM ET

Baskin & Robin, that is..
Why is this guy humping the rim? That's not a good image for the NBA. Guys trying to hump the rim....come on...

July 19, 2008  07:12 PM ET

He humps the rim because siomebody tries to reach for his ......

July 19, 2008  07:43 PM ET

Come on Goran just come down from there. We can work this out...I love you!!!

July 19, 2008  07:56 PM ET

Pheonix was going to pay him double what he'd earn in Spain.
Maybe he was afraid the Arizona border guard would pick him up, see that he can't speak English, and mistakenly deport him to Mexico.

July 19, 2008  09:32 PM ET

haha no habla english...

July 20, 2008  01:39 AM ET

Too bad I was hoping to see the guy play for the Suns this year

Goran Dragic is going to be the next Rajon Rondo. As for the Suns backup situation, they need to sign a veteran like Arroyo or J-Williams until Dragic comes into the league.
