PGA drug testing waste of time?

Most of the golfers view the anti-doping program as a necessary evil, given what has happened in baseball, football and track and field. "If you're not a good golfer, you can take whatever you want and you're not going to play good out here," said John Huston. "So to me, I think it's kind of a waste of money and I think the commissioner was forced into it by some of the other sports." Mark Wilson said he was tested after the final round of the AT&T National two weeks ago. ???It was a little frustrating,??? he said. ???You get done with a tournament and you want to get out of town, but as long as you can provide a (urine) sample, you???re OK. You???ve just got to make sure you don???t go on the 18th tee.???

Hey guys, instead of a half-arsed attempt at cut and paste, how about double checking your post? All those question marks instead of quotation marks make you look very amateurish.

Agreed, they suffer both at ESPN, FOX and SI with poor editing. It is as if they hired a bunch of illegal immigrants, or out sourced to India. As far as drug testing in golf.....you have be kidding me. What, because Tiger is out driving you by 20- 30 feet/yards? You make it up with your irons and your approach shots. Your not going to take HGH or EPO for that, not to mention roids.

What a bunch of sissies! They are frustrated because they don't know when to pee? Are you serious? Real simple guys, finish the 18th, go to the tent and sign your scorecard (hint to Michelle Wie) and tinkle in the cup, and then get out of town. I don't know why you are in such a hurry to blaze out of town, but, what the heck!

If you still have problems, just follow John Daly around, he drinks like a fish and you'll be peeing in no time at all!

Drug testng is BS and you think that the rich golfer league is gonna put up with testing. People have money....they gonna do drugs.

I took a vicodin and lathered up with mineral ice before my last round and shot a 78 !!! Will I be tested ???

They can save money by agreeing to never test Phil Mikelson. No one will accuse him of ever having gotten within 100 yards of a gym or salad bar...nevermind a steroid.

He is probably a steak guy Yoda

If the tour had someone other than a guy with jelly for brains as a commissioner you wouldn't have had this.

Putting Finchem at the helm was the worst mistake golfing executives ever made.

THE CHOKE CHOKE MEISTER PHIL MICKELSON SHOULD BE TESTED FOR ROIDS, NOT THE "STE" KIND BUT THE "HEMO" KIND.

THE CHOKE CHOKE MEISTER PHIL MICKELSON'S PLAY IS DEFINITELY LIKE SOMEONE WHO IS ON "ROIDS"... NOT THE "STE" KIND BUT THE "HEMO" KIND...
