Who's winning Dolphins' QB battle?

Posted: Sunday July 20, 2008 10:13AM ET

Though Josh McCown is considered by many to be the front-runner because of experience, the Dolphins have told NFL people the battle remains competitive with John Beck, and preseason performance will determine the winner. Several players thought McCown was better in May/June drills, but another starter favored Beck. Chad Henne remains an underdog, though nobody would be shocked if he was starting at some point this season. According to sentiment inside the Dolphins, McCown -- who is OK after his wood-chopping accident -- has impressed with athleticism and mobility.

It's Not!

if Mc Cown dodges defenders like he did a chain saw they will be in for a long season. on the bright side they should do better than last years record.

I don't know about 8-8, stanley. 6-10, maybe. 5-11 more likely. They still have a way to go.

Hey, I just checked out espn, & they had "Breaking News" about Taylor going to Washington.

The headline is "Skins trade for Dolphins' Taylor after Daniels goes down"

big Tony is working that is why big Tuna is in the media. the fins will be lucky to win 5-6 games this year. it takes a few years to stockpile talent and let it develope. fins fans should be patient especially after last year.

Who's winning Dolphins' QB battle?

Does it really matter? They're not going anywhere.

I find this picture of Parcells to be the most disturbing one I've seen. Please, someone tell me he just has something in his pocket like a tennis ball.

McNown will start, but mid-season when he and the Phins will realize that it's all a process of "rebuilding" will bring in Beck or Henne to test them in real games.
