Darren Myles Jr. met in Baton Rouge on Sunday with LSU head coach Les Miles, who reaffirmed his scholarship offer to safety from Carver of Atlanta. Myles Jr. then reaffirmed his desire to wait until after his high school season before making a decision but said that LSU was among his handful of favorites. Myles Jr. is rated the No. 5 safety nationally by Rivals.com and No. 12 by Scout.com. He also has seen Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Georgia Tech. He also wants to visit Ohio State and West Virginia.

Who's doing a better job of LOSING IT in today's T&R college photos? Miles or Huggins?
I vote Huggins. Miles is holding something back.

sub par recruit, he lacks quick feet and recovery speed, which are both very important at the Saftey position

Becase the best football is in the South.
Your Bucks' got beatdown 2 years in a row against SEC champs. You should know by now.

What are you, 0-9 vs SEC teams? yeah, keep talking it up, you have so much to brag about.

Yeah, I think Tennessee's Orange kicked the crap out of the White...

July 21, 2008  11:42 AM ET

Buckeye Pride:

YOu need them to get out of the South so OSU could finally beat an SEC team. Don't worry, he will still be playing in the South, he is just playing his options.

Waiting is fine for the recruit, but, not the program. If Les can sign someone with comparable talent, he should go for it. Charlie Weis has actually done this with a couple recruits, he offered them scholarships and said he needed and answer soon. When he didn't hear back he pulled the offer. More coaches should do this. If a coach is offering a full ride scholarship at a good college, they shouldn't be held hostage while some kid tries waits for the best situation for him. I know the kid has to do what's best for himself, but the coach should do whats best for the team, even if that means signing someone with a little less talent.

LSU is filling up fast.

I like this new "game" the coaches are playing. If you want to pull a Terrell Pryor, you can go elsewhere. We are not going to **** backwards waiting for a kid that may not even pan out. we'll take the next one and move on. Take the power away from these 18 year old kids.
