thunder? seriously, could you get anymore generic. why not cyclones, wranglers, marshalls, rodeo, outlaws, desperados, bandits, etc. something that has to do with the region. i know they get thunder with the tornados.

I dont know... I think its a step up from the Super Sonics... And how about the Raptors and Grizzlies? The Raptors are named after something that was big in a movie at the time.

Did you really think a league that pushed/forced the Washington Bullets to change their name to the Wizards would allow a team to be nicknamed the Outlaws/z?

i vote for the divorcees or even take their old Wnba team name Storm ( i'd bet the WNBA team would beat them in a head to head match up though ). wonder if their uni's will resemble something from the arena league. the first ones will be awful you can count on that.

Wasn't there a World League team named Thunder? In Berlin? If you're gonna steal a name, please take it from the USFL...
