Colts put Peyton on pitch count

07:18 AM ET 06.08 | With each flick of Peyton Manning's right wrist during passing drills Thursday, Colts assistant head coach Jim Caldwell squeezed a "counter.'' During the Colts' summer school and offseason conditioning program, it's what amounts to a pitch count. That's been a point of emphasis for Manning the past few seasons. Consider that he's 31, entering his 10th season and has delivered 5,365 passes in 157 regular-season and postseason starts. That doesn't take into account the thousands he has pitched in practice, training camp and the preseason.
