The Mets have endured so many injuries this season, you always expect the worse when you see a trainer step on the field. But trainer Ray Ramirez's visit to the mound with Jerry Manuel in the 10th inning to check on Billy Wagner was no big deal, the closer said. Wagner had trouble getting loose when he was warming up and he said it felt like he had a cramp in his shoulder. "I think I pulled right on through," Wagner said. He told Ramirez and Manuel he was fine, then struck out the side to end the game. A Mets spokesman said if Wagner is feeling discomfort today, he will be sent for an examination.

This is why you don't rely on guys who are old... this (although not a big deal, I guess) is just another example of Minaya's reliance to older veterens, and how it has continually bit the Mets for the past 2+ years...

When I first heard Wagner had a false alarm I just assumed he was going into false labor again, imagine my disappointment.
