Robert "Tractor" Traylor hasn't appeared in the NBA since 2005, but after several stops in Spain, Puerto Rico, and, well, the courthouse, he's hoping to return to the Big Show by earning a Cavs roster spot in Summer League.

Why? Did he run out of buffet money?

July 22, 2008  09:18 AM ET

wasn't this guy traded for Dirk Nowitski?

July 22, 2008  09:59 AM ET

he is better looking then shaq

July 22, 2008  10:04 AM ET

What did he go get himself in some sort of shape other then round?

July 22, 2008  10:53 AM ET

Wow, he'll have to compete with Eddy Curry for the slowest player down the court in the NBA.

July 22, 2008  11:03 AM ET

lmao...bro jus keep playin in euro or wuteva.....

July 22, 2008  11:09 AM ET

Tractor? where did they get that nickname? tractors can move!

July 22, 2008  11:26 AM ET

Oliver Miller :)

Would you believe this guy was a McDonalds All-American the same year as Garnett, Vince Carter, and Pierce. I think he just ate himself out of the league. Send him to the K nicks. He and Eddy Curry can do the buffet together, and talk about what might have been\.

July 22, 2008  11:55 AM ET

Just give him some coupons to the Jade Palace

July 22, 2008  11:58 AM ET

Hllywd is right. He was an All-American and a great player at Michigan. He did just eat himself out of the League. I would only send him to the Knicks for the comedy of it all. The locker room staff couldn't stock that buffet fast enough with those two around.

July 22, 2008  12:15 PM ET

yeah he gained about 40 pounds and didn't burn it off...

July 22, 2008  01:31 PM ET

They should have took him to eat at D Wades bar and grill

July 22, 2008  02:17 PM ET

Certain players that are out of the league and comeback- you root for.
- not him.
His only job was to stay in shape. and he couldn't do it.....unacceptable

That being said- if he HAS matured and learned how to JUST SAY NO to the buffet.......he always was a decent rebounder and would be a decent back-up PF for the league MINIMUM

July 22, 2008  03:43 PM ET

yeah and he might make the most out of it...
the funny thing was that shaq was really overweight sometimes with the Lakers but still but up 25 and 12 or whatever.
But this guy probably was about as overweight as shaq was and he was a total scrub...

July 22, 2008  04:09 PM ET

wow whats gonna happen when the cavs play the knicks cuury and tractor

July 22, 2008  04:12 PM ET

The Tractor was a good player at MIchigan. There's a funny clip of his shorts slipping of his butt as he jumps up like three times trying to get a rebound in college. How big would those shorts have to be to happer now? Quintiple X. Sorry Tractor hope u make it that way u can have Lebron's back on the court against the Wizards.

July 22, 2008  05:39 PM ET

If the Tractor has enough game, why not? You gotta give him props for EVEN attempting to comeback. I hope he's successful.

July 22, 2008  05:59 PM ET

He WAS a good player, but not anymore. Let the NBA give the youngsters some playing time.
