Nachbar picks Russia over Nets

Bostjan Nachbar will jump across the ocean to play in Russia next season. At least one of the Nets' revolving doors leads to Russia. Free agent forward Bostjan Nachbar decided Monday to sign with Russia's Dynamo Moscow team for a reported $14.3 million over three years - far more than he would have gotten from the Nets or any other NBA team. Nachbar made $2.5 million with the Nets last season, when he averaged 9.8 points off the bench.

DAMN they'll pay this guy 14.3 for 3 years? **** would the max contract getters like KG get haha. KG contract about 10x nachbar in the NBA last year. So I guess roughly 140 million over 3 years? hahaha damn this is nuts, russians are crazy.

Its not importnat because hes not a big name player,but this will be the first of many trends of international players going back to play for there original countries as well as some of our US players.The USA and NBA is not what it used to be

The Nets didn't need Nachbar. They acquired Yi, and drafted Ryan Anderson who are big men who can shoot. So, he was expendable.

I wish him good luck in Russia. Get the money.
