Michigan lands DL recruit
The Michigan coaching staff addressed a major need in their 2009 recruiting class when they secured the verbal pledge of Bastrop, La., defensive lineman DeQuinta Jones on Monday. Jones is the 13 th commitment for Michigan in the class of 2009, but the first defensive end prospect. Besides Michigan, Jones had also received scholarship offers from the likes of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Oklahoma State and Texas Christian.

This is being disputed as the player has said he hasn't committed anywhere yet. Seems as though one recruiting service, RIVALS, jumped the gun on this while Scout has talked to the parents of the kid and they say he has NOT verballed yet. Seems as if Rivals does this from time to time.
