Shockey vows Giants revenge

Even though the Giants apparently have done exactly what Jeremy Shockey asked them to do - trade him to the Saints - the tight end previously told reporters from Newsday's Kidsday in a video interview that he will be looking for revenge when he takes the field against his old team. "If the team trades me, I promise you I'm going to make them pay," Shockey told the youngsters during a promotional appearance in Queens in early June. "If I ever get a chance to play against a team that trades me, it's not going to be a pretty sight."

So.....you get hurt for the rest of the season and the team does well without you and you have your own girly pity party showing how much of a malcontent you really are. The team gives in to your demands and trades you and you vow revenge. Don't worry Jeremy I have the feeling plenty of your former teammates will have their revenge on you.

He said that to a bunch of kids? Come on Shockey, how about telling them the truth......you whined enough and got your way.

Shockey said this in early June. By the sound of it, he thought about going to the WWE. Sounds like something a wrestler would say before a pay-per-view event. I'm more interested in what he has to say now, a few days before training camp.

Oooooh, what are you going to do, spike the ball after a six yard catch and get a 15 yarder called against you? Manly. Aints will love that. Hope the Giants just keep your ring. Go get a another cool guy tat. Good luck New Orleans. You'll be wishing for your team chemistry back in week 3 or 4.

Aints will be wondering where their team chemistry is week 3 or 4. See ya, cancer. Say hi to your brother, Tiki.

The Giants handled a tough situation with class. Not once did they bad mouth Shockey and did all they could. Good for them. Jerry Reese is showing himself to be a first class GM. The last of the mess that Fassel left in that locker room is gone. All the draft pics are signed and the team is one of the youngest in the NFL. He is building for the long term.
Mr. Brees, meet Mr. Shockey....Did anyone bother to tell Sean Payton that you have to play defense too?

I swear Shockey is an a**..Well good riddance to bad trash..Let the saints deal with his dramatic a**..

It sounds to me like Mr. Shockey has a little growing up to do. You don't tick-off the bear and then go into his den to play. There may be more than one bear looking to tack a bruise on this youngster. Jusssssst a bit full of himself I'd say.

I'm sure the NY Giants are absolutely terrified by Shockey's comments.

July 23, 2008  08:41 AM ET

So let me get this straight...

He's traded away and vows revenge. Ummm I don't recall but did anyone ever hear of a player being traded and then saying "They'll do great without me. I didn't do that much for them other then cry and whine. The team they traded me to will regret this move for the remainder of my contract."

When was the last time someone got fired and said "It's about time! This company will Thrive without me. They are so much better off without me. You'll see! "

THE ANSWER IS NO PEOPLE. OF COURSE HE VOWS REVENGE.

Shockey's so ignorant you can smell the stupid flowing from his pores. Too bad stupidity is not a legit reason to ban a player....
