Daunte on Ravens' radar?

The Ravens wouldn't be the leading candidate to sign soon-to-be released Daunte Culpepper, but they have not eliminated the possibility of adding the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback, a league source said. Because the Ravens are committed to Steve McNair as their starter, it's unsure whether Culpepper would want to come here since he might have an opportunity to compete for a starting job elsewhere, the source added.

Well Daunte may be able to compete for starting jobs else were, if he loses them or isn't healthy enough, he could be stuck behind younger players. Steve McNair is close to done, Daunt e should consider a playoff team with a dominant D were he would have more chances to screw up and not be exhiled by a failing organization.

Chicago? i mean Grossman isnt the answer Daunte could get a solid chance to start midway into the season if the bears finnaly get sick of Rex and he has a solid d behind him, thats my guess. it all depends on how healthy he is, because no one really knows his potential

Both of you have good guesses. He would fit well with both of those teams. I've guessed Minny but I forgot that their coach didn't want him there in the first place.

Hey Daunte, this is great news, all you have to do is phone up one of them playoff bound teams with a great D where you can screw up all you want and not be "exhiled" - whatever that means.

Daunte is a train wreck waiting to happen. Any teams that picks him up will be sorry. A big injury payoff will be dished out when he goes down one more time??????.trust me on this one. That???s a given!
