Jennaro Pargo, whom the Hornets want to re-sign, wants a three-year deal and has received interest from several teams. He has opted out of his contract with the Hornets the past two years only to re-sign with them.

Pargo looks like he's taunting a little kid in that photo.

July 24, 2008  09:22 AM ET

Well this is huge news.

July 24, 2008  09:26 AM ET

He needs to be happy with whatever he gets..........

July 24, 2008  09:29 AM ET

* Yawn *

July 24, 2008  09:57 AM ET

I hear Josh is looking for someone to hang out with in Greece.....

Be grateful that you're on a team with CP3 who makes you look real good and take what you can get man...you'e not that good.

July 24, 2008  10:33 AM ET

I'm mad that I read this..lol

July 24, 2008  10:39 AM ET

3 years? Damn......everyone in the NBA this year thinks they can get mad money.

July 24, 2008  10:50 AM ET

Yoda, LOL so true

July 24, 2008  11:03 AM ET

Pargo is only looking for his future. He is a good back up PG and proved it last year. 3 years is not too long compared to others getting 5-10 years. Pargo is like a Barbosa of the Suns. Hornets needs to keep him to keep the team chemistry going.

July 24, 2008  11:35 AM ET

I seldom agree with Guam Baller, but he's dead on this time. There are a number of teams that will take Pargo off their hands, and give him what he's asking. It would be a big mistake to let him get away.

July 24, 2008  11:48 AM ET

I kind of like this chucker. He's like Ben Gordon, but without the overinflated opinion of his own worth.

July 24, 2008  12:46 PM ET

Nothing wrong for getting the money.

July 24, 2008  01:21 PM ET

Yeah, everyone wants the $$$
he's a decent shooter off the bench though...

July 24, 2008  03:30 PM ET

Thats not an insane wish.

July 24, 2008  04:08 PM ET

Well his leverage is that some overseas club is willing to pay more.. Money talks..any unknown player can use Europe as leverage... Only reason Marbury didn't go to Italy is because the team he wanted to play for does not have a strong Intern program for college blondes...

July 24, 2008  05:14 PM ET

Haha lol stars shouldn't leave the NBA needs them...Wade and Kidd are considering leaving!

July 24, 2008  06:33 PM ET

he should come to denver

July 24, 2008  06:35 PM ET

damn i got suckered into reading this one as well.

July 24, 2008  07:34 PM ET

I'd like to see him go to another West team like the Suns or Kings to back up Beno Udrih or Steve Nash.
