Sox still in market for relievers

The Red Sox are still in on Colorado's Brian Fuentes, Kansas City's Ron Mahay, and Oakland's Huston Street, and were interested in Damaso Marte. The Sox tried to get righthander Jon Rauch from Washington, but wouldn't give up Jed Lowrie and Michael Bowden. Rauch was dealt to Arizona last Tuesday. The Sox will likely not give up Clay Buchholz for Fuentes, but the Rockies may take less.

Nobody is going to give the Red Sox something for nothing..You either give up some guys you do not want to, or you keep the team you have....

yeah because the last two games their pen has truely sucked, be its not going to come cheap, they are going to have to give up something.. but with the Sox latest problems with manny they should just wait a couple more months and use the 20 million they don't have to pay manny to get some help in the pen..

Lowrie and Bowdin for Street and Crosby would be a win/win for both teams. The A's get younger and the Sox get bullpen and SS help.
