Jones: L.A. still on NFL's radar
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says there are potential ownership changes in the works that could pave the way for a return to Los Angeles. We haven't had much movement in ownership," Jones told a small group of reporters Monday after his team's afternoon practice at Oxnard. "I think we might see in the near term some movement in two, possibly three situations. That might start the ball rolling." Although Jones declined to identify the teams he was referring to, there has been recent talk of NFL owners in St. Louis and Jacksonville selling all or part of their teams. There also could be an ownership change in Pittsburgh, but Jones made it clear he wasn't talking about that situation. Jones, among a group of owners assigned to study the L.A. situation, dismissed the notion that the situation was stagnant because the league is preoccupied with looming issues with the players' union.

Why not just move USC to the NFL from the NCAA? They already play an NFL style? Oh wait, they are already L.A.'s best football team since the 80's....nevermind....

Haha, yeah...they're going to need to do something with LA's football situation. Maybe move a team nobody cares about, like the Cardinals.

Why would anyone move an NFL franchise to LA? LA is just not interested.

I don't like teams that move. The fans suffer. Can you imagine the LA Steelers? Well, we may see the LA Bills.

You'll see the LA Jaguars or LA Saints before you see the LA Bills... We've got Toronto on lockdown.

What is that Ford Logo doing under the Cowboy Logo? Cowboy fans better hope they have a better year than Ford did. I wonder which one is worth more now?

Just another one of the Cowboys multitude of sponsors. Pepsi, Miller Lite, etc. Remember, Texas is Ford country.

Even after winning a Superbowl, Giant fans still envy the Cowboys. Look for KIA (Killed In Action) to sponsor the Giants after Nov, 2nd, 2008.
