Talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh said if the St. Louis Rams came up for sale, he might be interested in buying the team. Limbaugh, who is from Cape Girardeau, Mo., told KMOX radio in St. Louis that NFL ownership is a "billionaire's club." He said he's not part of that club but is in good financial shape. Limbaugh said any move he makes would be a business decision, and not based on his ties to the region.

It's nice to see that he can afford it now that he's making $44 million a year.

July 30, 2008  07:35 AM ET

Maybe he can have McNabb come in and be his quarterback, that would be interesting

I bet he'd sign Nick Kaczur.

Neocon talking head mouthpieces who are blatant racists (neocons, racists - redundant) should not be allowed near the NFL. Which means this probably will happen. William C. Rhoden was right when he wrote the book, 40 Million Dollar Slaves...

Jackman, unfortunately for those of us in America who are intelligent, Limbaugh is a god to rich, powerful, conservative white dynastic families nationwide. His radio show is worshipped by the millions. Very, very sad. I'm not sure you'll find he and Oprah sharing a stage though.

Here's the saddest part: That so many people listen to this hate monger, with his twisted facts, that he can afford to buy a football team.

Great comments Keith. I know they arent in the same category, but I dont respect any of these personalities, (and throw Dr Phil in there too). I would have loved listening to Carlin and Zappa on a daily basis.

You took the words right out of my mouth. He'd never be approved and if he did I bet the owners would force him to give up his radio program and there is no way his ego would allow him to do that.

Not many wins from a team with all white players.

July 30, 2008  08:46 AM ET

Wow. I'm a little stunned here folks so far this morning. Where all the junior republican neocons from certain silly fan groups this morning to defend one of their heros and tell us all how unpatriotic we are. Give it time, it's only 8:45 am here on the East Coast.
