Dixon commits to Missouri
Michael Dixon gave an oral commitment to Missouri on Wednesday, making basketball coach Mike Anderson's night and becoming the third Kansas City basketball star to widen an emerging pipeline to Mizzou. "I told him I wanted to be a Tiger," said Dixon, a senior-to-be at Lee's Summit West and the No. 17-rated point guard nationally in the class of 2009, according to Rivals.com. "He said, 'Welcome to the family.'" Dixon will be among friends when he reports. Former KC Pump N' Run AAU teammates Marcus Denmon (Hogan Prep) and Steve Moore (Truman) will be freshmen this season at Mizzou. And that, Dixon told The Star, had a lot to do with his choice of Mizzou over Arizona, Cal and Purdue, which he said were Missouri's chief competitors.

I feel sorry for kids who commit to Mizzou. They have 4 years of losing ahead of them. Well, unless they get kicked off the team, which happens a lot at Missouri. That program is not good.

and yeah, this kid may never even play for Anderson, if the Tigers struggle again this year he's probably gone. Although i think it best for the program if he stayed at least through next season, look what happened with Pinkiel

It's better to lose big at Mizzou, than win at Purdue!
