Goodell giving Favre more time

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is giving Brett Favre the time and space he needs to decide whether his desire to play football is strong enough to push aside a lucrative deal that would settle his dispute with the Green Bay Packers and put him into retirement for good. On Friday, a spokesman for the National Football League announced that Goodell had postponed making a decision on whether to act on Favre's application for reinstatement, a clear sign that the league and the Packers are waiting to see if the quarterback will accept President Mark Murphy's 10-year, $20 million marketing and promotions offer. There are some inside and outside the Packers organization who think Favre's reluctance to play somewhere other than Green Bay is weighing heavily on his decision and that he might choose to stay retired rather than fight the Packers on getting his outright release.

This is why the Packers don't want him, he can't make up his mind on anything.

Should I run or should I pass, wait....let me think about it...BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! sack?

There's that awesome photo of Goodell again where it looks like he is singing a love song.

'Feelings, nothing more than feelings, Trying to forget my feelings of love...'
