09:32 AM ET 08.03 | Is there now a zero-tolerance policy for Steve Smith? I asked Carolina coach John Fox and he wouldn't say for sure, but he did acknowledge that Smith had been given certain conditions for the future.

The commissioner should be the one to determine his suspension, not the team that needs him to be on the field, in order to win games.
Two games is weak, for a second incident .

If the fight happens between teammates, then the team should be the ones to determine discipline. If an altercation happens between opposing team members, that's when the league comes into the picture.

Fox had to do something...it's not the first incident for Smith. He should act like the team leader instead of the team idiot.

Just so I'm clear, the "zero-tolerance" policy takes effect after you punch TWO teammates? OK, got it.

Notice Smith didn't pull that crap with a defensive or offensive lineman. I'd love to see him get in Julius Peppers' face.

What a punk! Take a shot at a guy while he's down on one knee, unsuspecting of anything. Its Manny Ramirez in Carolina, except Smith got fined and suspended.
