Arlovski considering boxing?

It appears Andrei Arlovski will benefit from the legal standoff between Randy Couture and Zuffa -- the UFC's parent company -- because Arlovski looks to be next in line to fight Fedor Emelianenko. Couture remains listed as the UFC heavyweight champ, but he wants to leave the promotion to fight Fedor, who is considered the top MMA heavyweight in the world. That big-money fight has been put on hold, however, as Couture and Zuffa fight over Couture's UFC contract in court. There also is talk that Arlovski may try his hand at professional boxing.

Okay he'll kick my butt, But he's not fighting me. He's fighting "The Last Emperor" Fedor Emelianenko. I don't really see Andrei winning that fight. Does anyone?

I don't see Arlovski having that much success in boxing against very skilled boxers, he gets hit too much. Besides I'd prefer to see him in MMA matches.

But I thought I heard that Fedor is withdrawing from that fight and now it's gonna be Arlovski/Barnett on the next Affliction card. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree with Robert. I think AA has a better chance than just about anyone out there. He has the Sambo skills to defeat his submissions and his striking is right up there. Hope this fight happen if AA beats Barnett.
