Brewers' Fielder attacks teammate

Almost a year to the day after an ugly dugout confrontation was captured by the television cameras at Miller Park, the Battlin' Brewers were at it again Monday night. With Milwaukee en route to a 6-3 loss to Cincinnati, starting pitcher Manny Parra and first baseman Prince Fielder engaged in a dispute in the visiting dugout during the top of the seventh inning that resulted in Fielder physically attacking Parra. The irate Fielder had to be pulled off the stunned pitcher by several teammates and wrestled to the floor. Parra, who surrendered six runs in six innings, had just been lifted from the game for a pinch hitter. Someone who overheard parts of the conversation said Parra apparently was headed back to the clubhouse and an agitated Fielder told him he should remain in the dugout to watch the Brewers bat that inning. Parra angrily snatched up his cap and jacket from the bench and was walking toward the other end, side-by-side with Fielder, when the 270-pound first baseman suddenly turned and forcefully pushed Parra onto the bench. Fielder then lunged at Parra again and shoved him hard with both arms.

You know, this is really getting OLD. PRO. BASEBALL PLAYERS fight every day. This weekend they were fighting, now this. This is really good for our young children to see. A fine of 25,000 is nothing to these OVER PAID SPOILED BABYS. Kick there BUTTS off the team for the year. Maybe that will make them grow up. jerry

Roid rage perhaps??

Way too much emotion - again. Why so tempermental?

This was just a matter of time. The players are getting PO"d that the pitching is going to hell, and giving up ball games. The Brewers have lost a lot of games due to lousy pitching, errors on defense, and leaving men on base. Next we'll see the pitchers going after the hitters because they can't get men over the plate to help the pitcher. Watch the sausage races, they even bet on them in Vegas! lol

Nothing like a good implosion. Especially involving the Brewers! That's it boys, keep on fighting amongst yourselves.

Whatever bible classes Fielder and Steve Smith are going to isn't helping

Don't these guys realize that they are role models... keep that stuff in the clubhouse. That's the last thing I want my kids replicating.

The Brewers need to focus on making the most of their half a season with CC Sabathia.

No Grips, and they don't care to know.

Players get into fights. It happens. I grew up watching the Yankees of the late 70's fight constantly. Jackson and Munson were always at each others throats but when Munson died Jackson was crying into his glove in the outfield. Sometimes I think everyone forgets just how young a lot of these guys are.

I think they're spending a bit too much time on the passages concerning smiting.
