Dolphins put Glenn on hold

Although Miami could sign former Cowboys receiver Terry Glenn at any point this preseason, a decision has been put on hold in recent days while both sides consider their options. The delay is giving Glenn more time to get into better condition, and it's giving the Dolphins more time to evaluate their current group of receivers.

Translated this means the Dolphins now see why the Cowboys didn't bend and neither did Glenn's knee!

Keeping a roster spot for Garcia.

good riddence!!!
give him to tuna !!!

August 6, 2008  07:58 AM ET

if bill don't want you, ain't many options left for you. might be able to get a minimum deal on a perennial loser or a team that suffers a wr loss (via injury or holdout) during the pre-season.

August 6, 2008  08:16 AM ET

Surprise, surprise. Not in shape, exactly what the Cowboys said.

August 6, 2008  08:19 AM ET

he needs to get ready for his retirement press confrence.

August 6, 2008  08:23 AM ET

Oh well, he should have signed that waiver..At least that could have been guaranteed money...Now he may go to not getting a paycheck at all..smh

August 6, 2008  11:04 AM ET

What a maroon Glenn is. He could have had guaranteed money by signing that waiver but nooooo, not him. Here's to another washed up player quietly retiring.

Okay, now this is where it should be.

August 6, 2008  11:31 AM ET

Serves him right. It was ridiculous for him not to sign that waiver after getting that big roster bonus last year.

I guess the question is, what uniform will he be wearing when he goes into the hall of good, but not great, and had some diva like issues.

Kung Pow!!

Right to the chops; from the press, the coaches, the folks at Fannation!

August 6, 2008  11:59 AM ET

Alternate translation: We're not sure if you're any better than the 10 scrubs we already have in camp.

August 6, 2008  05:12 PM ET

I like Kung Pow!!!! I like it like that, Baby!!!!

August 6, 2008  05:13 PM ET

Doubt he can pass a physical.

August 6, 2008  06:35 PM ET

Man your not kidding about Garcia. See ya Josh, good luck in Atlanta

August 6, 2008  06:35 PM ET

Never mind on hold - how about the "I don't want her list" !!!

August 6, 2008  06:36 PM ET

I hope Garcia comes here, see ya Josh good luck in the ATL

August 8, 2008  02:00 AM ET

If Miami doesn't sign, chances are TG will stay close to the phone just in case Jerry calls. The 'Boys are the only team that's going to give him a shot at returning to the playing field. He should already have fired his agent.

Aw - that knee that wouldn't pass a physical in Dallas won't pass one in Miami, either, will it.
