Purdue might be ok this year w/ Curtis Painter.

I'm just glad he didn't sign with a guy in a wizard hat selling snake oil

Excellent choice, you can tell he is a bright intelligent young man. Hopefully Purdue football will get a boost of energy with the new coach comming in.

Hmmm... playing time as a freshman is always a good recruiting pitch. Plus he gets to play in the Big-10... that's always fun if your on defense

He'll be drunk at Harry's and Where Else for breakfast club before the game and puking on the field in no time.

Oh, Farscape, you're making me homesick.

He may be playing in mediocrity, but he'll still be receiving a solid education. Also, take a look at the recent DE's Purdue has developed into NFL Millionaires as DE's or rushing LB'ers:

Shaun Phillips, Ray Edwards, Rosey Colvin, Akin Ayodele, and Anthony Spencer.
