Tift County defensive lineman Shayon Green has chosen Purdue. "I can get an education in what I want to study (physical therapy), and I think I could get a chance to play as a true freshman," Green told the Tifton Gazette.

Hmmm... playing time as a freshman is always a good recruiting pitch. Plus he gets to play in the Big-10... that's always fun if your on defense

He may be playing in mediocrity, but he'll still be receiving a solid education. Also, take a look at the recent DE's Purdue has developed into NFL Millionaires as DE's or rushing LB'ers:

Shaun Phillips, Ray Edwards, Rosey Colvin, Akin Ayodele, and Anthony Spencer.
