Ole Miss still chasing recruit

Ole Miss is still heavily recruiting Warner Robins tailback Rashad Wynes after his surprise commitment to Alabama-Birmingham. Wynes, a member of the AJC's Georgia Top 150, said he has gotten hand-written letters from Ole Miss defensive coordinator Tyrone Nix. Ole Miss is recruiting Wynes at safety or cornerback, while UAB wants him at tailback or wide receiver. Wynes, who was also considering offers from Troy and Georgia Southern, said he has no regrets about his early commitment to UAB. "It's a great fit for me. When I visited there, it felt like it was the future home for me."

Ya gotta respect the guys decision. As awesome as the SEC would be to play for, the guy apparently wants to play offense.

This kid picked UAB. Unfortunately, there isn't much honor among coaches in recruiting. It's going to be up to the kid here to honor the UAB committment.
