Controversial Chris Henry, a potential No. 1 receiver, said he would love to join the Dolphins, but his agent said they are not among the three teams that have inquired. Henry has been suspended (again) by the NFL for the first four games and knows ''he has one last chance,'' agent Marvin Frazier said.

Why? Desperate? Don't care about about distractions? Perhaps the "last chance" may prove something/teach this guy something about being lucky to play in a professional sport.

Maybe it would do this guy some good to do dishes and mop floors for a living. If I played a game for a living I would appreciate evey second I had of it and not take it for granted.

You mean there are three NFL cities willing to take on this one man crime wave?

Whoever gets him will need to talk to his probation agent also.

Are those ears real?

August 13, 2008  07:36 AM ET

Yoda, don't you mean "ears, are they real?" or "Those ears real, are they?" or something like that? If you're gonna go by the name, play the part brother...my kids might be reading this...and they still believe...

Why so many troublemakers in the nfl. Too much god-given talent wasted in this business

August 13, 2008  07:48 AM ET

Love to know the names of those three teams and if any of them are based on Vulcan.

August 13, 2008  07:57 AM ET

The other two teams are the Gridiron Gang and the Mean Machine.

August 13, 2008  08:11 AM ET

Dallas is Obviously one of the teams.

August 13, 2008  08:11 AM ET

So who are the three other UFL teams that have not called?

August 13, 2008  08:21 AM ET

henry has zero chance of playing an entire season between arrests. and he's still suspended from the league. this guy is his own worst enemy. he's too immature to make it in the nfl. matter of time until he's doing time.

August 13, 2008  08:31 AM ET

Gotta be the Raiders, Bucs and Ravens. Those teams have proven they'll take the most low-lifed, vile, despicable pieces of human waste imagineable.

The Cowboys would be in the running but they've already reached their "thug cap".

This story is another reason I've just about given up on professional sports.

August 13, 2008  08:33 AM ET

I do hope all those teams they're talking to are telling him what a twit he was to blow off his chance in the NFL ...

August 13, 2008  08:48 AM ET

Clearly a player on his last ride and an idiot.. he is looking for big money before he is kicked out soon. A team would be crazy to pay much.. he should get the bottom number and stay clean a year and then talk big money. He is too much of a risk at this point.

August 13, 2008  08:50 AM ET

he should go to Baltimore

August 13, 2008  08:51 AM ET

Look for him to be chasing Mike Vicks errant throws in the PFL soon.

August 13, 2008  08:52 AM ET

and people need to get off his case for giving alcohol to underage girls. Sports media is turning in TMZ.com or PerezHilton...god!

August 13, 2008  08:55 AM ET

He is a talented young player that would be worth the risk, obviously on a one year minimum contract.
