Lawrence applies for Seton Hall

Former Missouri player Keon Lawrence is expected to apply to the NCAA for a hardship ruling aimed at allowing him to play this season for Seton Hall. Alif Muhammad, an advisor to Lawrence, said several members of Lawrence's family are facing "serious medical issues." "It could be possible that in the next year he could lose two members of his immediate family," Muhammad said. Lawrence, a junior guard from Newark, N.J., left the Tigers last month and transferred to Seton Hall to be closer to home.

Keon's the kind of kid that's always smiling...even with all that going on last year for him. He was an excellent player too.
