It's over between model May Anderson and her Dallas Mavericks beau Jason Kidd - thanks to Page Six. It seems Kidd was tired of reading about his woman's nights out. "Jason couldn't take her hard partying," said one source. "While he was training for the Olympics, she told him she was staying in, but then he would read in Page Six that she was out with celebrities like Lindsay Lohan." Our insider added, "It was too distracting, and he decided it better to focus on training and bringing home the gold for the US." Reps for Kidd had "no comment."

Does anybody really care about this? The Olympic team beat Greece to avenge a loss in 2006. Chris Bosh and Kobe Bryant had 18 apiece, while D Wade and LeBron James had 17 and 13 respectively. When Kidd comes home and busts her lip, that will be news. Until then the Post should let the National Enquirer handle this.

One thing about sports figures. It doesn't matter what someone does after doing something wrong (Kidd hitting his ex), they will always be haunted by that mistake. In this case I find it sad because it isn't as if Kidd has a long list of felonies on his record. There are far worse.
As far as the girlfriend goes, I have no doubt he can get better. Sports figures can pretty much get who they want. She may look good in the photos but I always have to wonder what they look like on a regular day when their not just a picture that has been air brushed to make them look 5 to 10 years younger (as needed).
