Nate McMillan said he has no intention of allowing owner Clay Bennett and his boys to rehang his uniform in OKC. "I never played in Oklahoma City," he said. "I spent my whole career in Seattle, you know. I just don't see that happening. And that's fine with me."

Mac-10 is the man!

It's statements like this one that makes Nate McMillan a legend in Seattle!

He was a great player and coach for the Sonics. He saw the writing on the wall, and took his game down I-5 to Portland, and along with Kevin Pritchard, have turned "the Jailblazers" back into the Trailblazers.

Well done, Mac-10!

Way to make a statement Mr. Sonic! Other Sonics need to follow Nate with making the same statement.

That is awesome! Great statement by Nate.......

I've always had a lot of respect for McMillan, and now I have even more. I hope all the former Sonics that have their jerseys hanging in Seattle say the same thing

Great statement, and its true and honorable.

August 15, 2008  03:44 AM ET

Why don't they just hang Benoit Benjamin for all the money he "stole" while pretending to play basketball?

"McMillan doesn't want Jersey in Oklahoma City" is the headline here.
First of all, New Jersey and Oklahoma are far apart - not a real issue of one mixing into the other.
However, I can understand how Oklahoma City can be mistaken for Jersey - they're both dumps.

Good 4 him! He never played 4 the thunder or whetever they call themselves
