Judge: Vick's estate in disarray
Michael Vick's finances are in such disarray that a bankruptcy judge has been asked to appoint a trustee to oversee the fallen quarterback's dwindling estate. W. Clarkson McDow Jr., the U.S. trustee for region four (which includes Newport News, Va.), noted in court documents filed in Virginia that by Vick's own admission, he "has limited ability to arrange his finances and limited ability to participate in the bankruptcy case on an in-person basis." Vick, the suspended and imprisoned Falcons quarterback, originally sought to have David Talbot serve as his trustee in the case. He was called a "trusted adviser" in the original Chapter 11 filing on July 7. However Talbot was charged with securities fraud by the state of New Jersey last Friday. He is accused of swindling $500,000 from church members. Vick has since sought to have him dismissed as an adviser. Vick is serving a 23-month sentence on felony charges related in dogfighting at Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary in Kansas. Vick's attorney, Peter R. Ginsberg, said that the trustee's motion was premature.

Way to go Mike. You promised to stop hanging around bad people but you appoint David Talbot as trustee for your estate. And now he is accused of embezzling? Mike, your really know how to chose your friends and acquaintances. You made the same type of decisions off the field as you did when you were on the field....bad ones!!!!!

I hope Michael Vick is running with a better crowd now that he's in prison. He sure couldn't pick 'em when he was a free man.

Cowboystar - Obviously you care, your posting about it.
You guys should learn what a Chapter 11 bankruptcy is. Just because you file bankruptcy doesn't mean you are broke. It is a way for rich people to protect themselves from any further loss of money.

All this Vick hated is getting old. I guess you guys are going to have an aneurysm when Vick gets out and comes to play for a team like the Steelers or someone like that.
Vick would make a team like the Steeler unstoppable, and all the haters heads would explode every time Vick was responsible for another TD.
You guys might as well get over it, because he will be playing in the NFL again, and he will probably land on a team that has sense enough to know talent when they see it.

He ain't rich people... he is stupid people. He was borderline solvent when he was playing... he's got Jack now...
His "trusted adviser" and his other corrupt cronies will see to that. When he gets out he won't have a nickel to his name. and no future either... couldn't happen to a more deserving slime ball
