I'd actually be sort of surprised to see Favre take a marketing deal with the current administration of the Packers. Maybe after they're fired in a few years.

Well its been known that he thought about it 79473936..He just acted on it just this "1" time..:)..I'm surprised that they still would offer him the deal...

He looks like he is tired of training camp already...He looks unhappy and he done made some snide remarks.....

Technically Brett has only retired once and there are still some Favre fans who question whether or not it was official this time since he's back but, Favre only flirted with retirement 14 times in his NFL career not following through with any of them.

Angrychinaman, I think your meds are wearing off. You should go find a knitting story to comment on. Favre was an above average QB who happened to play for the same team for a long time. His greatest accomplishment is longevity, being able to play 110-120 games straight without missing any due to injury is testimony to his toughness. His one SB win was thanks to a kick returner named Desmond Howard.
Not many of the Old Time players on any team would survive in the modern era at their old positions. The lineman of that time where about the size of a modern day LB. Some of the QB's, recievers and runnuning backs could do it for sure.
The packers could install me at QB and they would sell out every game this year. Don't laugh, I've got a pretty good arm for an old guy!
