Terps may play three QBs

Maryland football coach Ralph Friedgen has shown in recent months that he isn't as intractable as some believe. Friedgen brought in a new offensive coordinator, James Franklin, named him assistant head coach and let him overhaul the offense. Now, entering his eighth season at Maryland, Friedgen seems willing to alter his philosophy when it comes to his quarterbacks. With incumbent Chris Turner unable to separate himself from Jordan Steffy or Josh Portis, Friedgen said this week that he might consider using two - or even three - quarterbacks this season.

DEVO, throw all the mud you want at coach Ralph, but he's been the best thing to happen to Maryland football in 20 years. Thanks to Ralph, MD has finally been able to beat schools like FLORIDA STATE.

Is it just me or does it seem like Steffy's been at Maryland for the last 10 years?

And playing 3 qb's does mean that none of them are much better than the others. Still, Ralph(perfect name for him too) has been good for Terp football.

I'd go with Freidgen's invite - he's from the South, and they fry their turkeys there.

Man, look at that picture. It's like a beached whale, for crying out loud.

But seriously, playing more than one QB is not a good idea. They frequently try to outshine each other, making dangerous choices.
