Horn puts Falcons in tough spot

Falcons wide receiver Joe Horn could take some snaps tonight against the Colts. This has been a strange week for Horn, who wants out to the point that he told me he's contemplated giving back some of the guaranteed $2.5 million he's owed. Though there have been some suggestions that Horn's base salary is not guaranteed, it is. Otherwise, he would have been long gone. What likely will happen with Horn is things will come down to final cuts Aug. 30. Either a team in need will work a trade for Horn or they will wait to see if Atlanta cuts him (and eats the $2.5 mil). If the Falcons' don't cut him or trade, they're in a tough spot. Which would lead you to think there will be some type of separation within the next few weeks.

Horn is a cry-baby.

nobody is going to trade for him. best he can hope for, a league minimum contract on a contender. what he will settle for, any team that will offer him a contract.

I could see him ending up on the Cowboys and making a decent impact.

Joe Horn will not be on the Cowboys. I hate to say it, but I would rather the Cowboys take a chance on Chris Henry than Joe Horn if they really feel they need a WR.

Henry would never last in Dallas. Contraband prices near the border are lower. Given time, Henry would top his 6 arrests in Cincy quickly, down in Texas..

The names Joe Horn and Texas stirred something in my memory banks so I did a google to find out why. A 62-year old man (Joe Horn) in Pasadena, Texas shot and killed two burglars with his 12-gauge shotgun. Even though the 911 operator kept telling him not to do it, this Mr. Horn didn't think the cops were moving fast enough and shot the men while still on the phone with 911. A grand jury found in his favor so he was never taken to trial.

I realize this story has nothing to do with Joe Horn the football player but I'm bored out of my gourd and it's only 11am. :(

If you get released, don't come crawling to the Cowboys, we do not need ot want you!

Tough choice. Horn being Horn or Henry being Henry. I'd take neither.

Not needed in New Orleans - goes to Atlanta to help mentor the younger players - Not needed in Atlanta - goes into retirement because nobody else wants to put up with a whiner that cannot fulfill his obligations / or word to be a team player and perform as needed. Guess that he will complain until somebody that is desperate for a WR gets him and then it will be the "Comeback story" again - Joe Horn - goodbye and good riddance.

Get him outta here!!! He's a cancer to this team the same way DeBungler Hall and Algernon Grumpler were. Put him on the next thing smokin' and be done with it.
