meh if dunn ends up in yankee stripes. bad enough the reds have to exist as one of the AAAA farm teams, but watching bi-weekly highlight clips of a former red wearing Yankee strips..meh. was bad enough watching it happen with Paul O'Neil years back.

this is the state of baseball today though. what the yankees have been doing for the past 2 decades. making 2/3 rds of MLB act as their AAAA farm system.

Are you familiar with the Red Sox, Troy? You may have missed the memo, but they decided to switch over to that business process a few years back. Kinda worked out well for the Yankees, too. And the Diamondbacks.

i know a man of your ilk. pretty crazy huh?

but i still think trying to buy players like they are talking about is the wrong way to go about it. and getting dunn. why? they already have like 4 or 5 1st base/dh types. he isnt that fluid in the outfield. but if they do let giambi and all these overpaid guys walk that would be a start,
