Another year in Sweden. Can someone say that Carl Soderberg is important?

BGM will have this guy as important, I'm certain he will be pushing him for the Calder once he hits Beantown! With Soderberg in the Bruins lineup, they will go into every third period with a one goal lead and win 82 games and never have to play overtime or shootouts. This team will be so rested due to the less icetime that they will fly through the playoff rounds healthy and unscathed and be playing in the finals against the over aged Wings. And of course, Lucic will win the Conn Smythe and BGM's man crush will be complete with a marriage proposal soon to follow.

BGM...wedding party will consist of the following...
Bride- Lucic
Best man-Cam Neely
M.C- Joe Thornton
Bridesmaids- Kyle Wellwood-Kovalev-Sundin-(Oops, there's that name again)
and Alexander Daig and of course, Alexi Yashin.
Ushers- Spiny-Hank Kingsley-Gocanada-Roberts#1-T-Rocks-Oilersguy-Yoda and Baun-ded who will respecfully decline and send a gift instead. I'm thinkin a Jeff Finger sweater...

Did they pay you? Or did you do it just for the exposure?

Why the **** should he go overseas and play for a minor league team, when he can develop in Sweden, whose league is by far better than the minor leagues over in the States. Is there a reason why he can't compete for a spot on the roster over in Sweden? If the scouts can't compare him to the players they have in Providence, they shouldn't be ******ng scouts in the first place. I don't know how old the kid is, but back in Sweden I'm quite sure he has a lot of security in family and friends, which carries a long way for a young prospect.

How bad is it when JP Barry's name is becoming synonymous with the FN hockey threads? We shouldn't even know who any of the agents are, but we get an update from Barry every day.

Lat year I visited Pgh and Det. I intended to spend money at Boston games this year. They need something and Soderberg doesn't seem to be the thing. That is the thing to smoke the Pens and Flyers and Caps.

A combo of a Swedish Smorgasboard of Forsberg, Nilsson, Lundqvist, Eklund and the three amigos who helped themselves to that girl might help. Um that was 2005 or 6.

Thank you bgm. I will pick another team to challenge Detroit this coming year. Last year it was the Pens. This year it is the Caps, Pens with two weak teams on my bubble and one is Boston.

I know how nuts Boston sounds. Pens didn't sound too sane either between 8/2007 and 4/2008.

And trouble with SI?..I got two worse responses. One got me a note and a whole thread just..was gone.I also got into trouble for saying the mighty **** were favored by child molesters. I don't really care about the Ducks but I read that somewhere. I also bashed NHL owners and Bettman. I was crushed for that. Might have been what I said.

I complimented Bettman to his face. Bettman's face. Before I get tossed...that was a decade or so ago. Spiny hasn't been around too much anyway.

This team is gonna be very good, I do not think they can win cup, but I think they can make some noise in playoffs they have a lot of young talent, they remind me of last years Flyers

bostongm, as a fan of the B's, you should know that Rask is not Swedish, he's Finnish.

In any case, I still believe Soderberg will develop a lot better in Sweden than in the minors over there. Of course, he could be called up and all, but really, who would want to give up their lives to go play for a minor league team? His goal is the starting lineup, and if he feels he will have a better chance of developing in Sweden, more power to him. However, I doubt you'll have any good use of him anyway, checking liner at the best is what I think. Rask on the other hand... he could be the next Miika Kiprusoff.
