That's the thing about "potential": Tiger doesn't have any "potential"; he has "results". Wie hasn't shown that she's anything more than a slightly-above-average female pro, at best. And, considering her ranking is about 300 and she's about to lose her tour card...I was being overly generous.

Better revise the first sentence to read "David Leadbetter, Michelle Wie's former coach, . . ."

Wie's gameplan should be very simple.

Win something, anything. An LPGA tour event would be best.

She's definitely destroying herself with her current approach, but . . . the money is good.

She's from Hawaii, she's a female, looks good, and can be marketed. It's all about playing good and making money while you do it. Unfortunately she can't play the game as good as her handlers want and/or need her too. In turn the big paychecks are dwindling.

If Michelle Wie wants to get better, the first thing she should do is get rid of David Leadpoison and go back to Gary Gilchrist, her original instructor. Ask Leadpoison what he has done to Ty Tryon's career. Leadpoison as he is affectionately referred to by professional players in the Orlando area and throughout the mini tours is just plain AWFUL. Leadpoison is a FRAUD.
