Prior injury gloomier than first thought

08:59 AM ET 04.24 | Mark Prior's chances of pitching for the Cubs this season might have gone from slim to none with the news Monday that he will undergo exploratory arthroscopic surgery on his pitching shoulder today.

Awe, give him a break. It wasn't his fault that Dusty Baker likes to run pitchers to the ground. He ended both Wood and Prior's career. What a great manager he was.....

"sensational bust from the moment he took the mound" ??? yea, besides that year he won 18 games and almost took the Cubs, of all teams, to the Series. "Flash-in-the-pan" might be more appropriate .

Yeah, that's why I said "sensational" bust. He was awesome with great potential at one point, then he busted. Flash-in-the-pan is good.
