Some guys just aren't cut out for the rigors of pro sports. Stefan Legein is one of them. Too bad for the Jackets, though. It sucks.

What I want to know is, what the heck is T&R playing at, coming at us out of left field like this with a Blue Jackets story? Where is our Gaborik update? And our Preds thread? Hmphh.

Well its sad that he's quitting but he couldve at least told the Jackets before so they wouldnt have selected him. Oh well.

Conspiracy theory alert:

He played in Ontario which have made some people think that he's opting out of the Jackets so he can play with the Leafs this year. There are loop-holes in the CBA (example : Blake Wheeler). I guess we'll find out in about a month or so.

That team just can't seem to catch a break with any of their players.

A player I know quit hockey after the start of last season and went home but I guess he decided he missed it too much and decided to come back this year for training camp.

From what I've heard it sounds like his dad was living out his NHL dreams with Legein and he just got tired of it. I also heard that he was kinda convinced to play for Team Canada in the WJC.
