They should have drafted the surefire talent in Braylon Edwards. Sure they needed a QB, but the QB crop was so bad that year it just didn't make any sense. You take the best player available. They wanted Leinart all along, and in reality could have got him too if they had waited.

If I had a quarter for every time I heard that line I'd have enough money to buy a football team but, since I think I know who you really are and have you on my friends list, sure, why not. No tongues though or the deal is off. :}

Well, when you are the #1 overall pick of the NFL Draft and a couple years later you are battling against one guy that went and undrafted, and another guy who was picked in the 6th rd...on his 8th NFL team....yeah we can call you a bust.

Looks like both Vernon Davis & Alex Smith are both busts. Martz never utilitzes the TE in his schemes so he's basically going to waste away. Davis may get a second chance with another team because he has talent.
