I am not saying he is totally innocent, but how many unwanted advances are made in strip clubs and how many of those result in investigations? Sounding like a civil suit/shakedown to me.

jdinsmore, I agree with you, this probably is some gold digger trying to make bank off this guy. But, why don't these NFL players quit getting into stupid situations with the NFL coming down on players so hard. The gun on the other hand, should get him some time off and a fine.

ocpete, I agree with you 100%. While it is probably a bit of "gold digging", these guys that are in the spotlight need to stay out of the situations. I realize these guys are normal men, but they are getting paid big $$$ to play the game. Realize you are role models and earn your money!!

I don't understand why rich nfl players go to strip clubs anyways. They could get any hot gold-digger off the street. They should look to some of the other players who may have muffed their careers by hanging out in a strip club.

This is another glaring example of people targeting these players. Has anyone stopped to think "How did he get in the dressing room? Why was he there?" I am sure that he didn't just break into it. I am sure he is a regular that spends a ton of cash in there. I refuse to judge the man because he went to a strip club. That is not illegal and if he wants to do that, fine. There are plenty of men and women of all social status in strip clubs. It is straight to the point for these people without having to make conversation or date. Cash is the best conversation and you can get what you want there. Godell has really had this new sherrif thing back fire, because now you see more "ACCUSATIONS" than any other time. Why? It's because now these accusers feel they have more of a chance to get what they want because these players will try to make these cases go away before it becomes an issue for Godell to look at. Talk about a double edge sword. It's going to be an interesting year.

Guys, help me understand something...A guy like this makes....say a half a mil. per year, give or take a few thousand....why in Sam's name is he at A FLIPPIN STRIP CLUB?????? I'll be it, he aint the most attractive brotha in the world but come on...I'd rather go to the grocery store in an attempt to pick up on woman....Whether he is found innocent or not, why put yourself in that position....heck if you need a girl so bad just look up your old highschool sweetheart...

Okay guys, let me give you a little history lesson on our boy Shaun Rogers..This kid graduated from LaPorte High School in LaPorte Texas. This kid graduated with my little brother in 97, and I graduated in 94. This guy was not the smartest one in school, but he was protected with his academics by the coaches. He would be with a different **** every other week. So the notion of him at any kind of strip club is very possible, based on history. Second, he most likely did grope this girl, because he has that type of mentality. Granted, this was when he didn't have tons of money, but history would show a trend.

You may be right about him, he may think that he ownes the world or what ever, but at some point a judgement has to be made about leaking this information out without any evidence. It is amazing how these black athletes are always treated differently by the media and the public. It is an obvious difference in the way these stories are covered, presented, and the response by the public in these situations. For example: Vick has been all over the news this entire offseason for two reasons: The water bottle incident, and now dog fighting allegations. Neither of which has he been charged, found guilty, arrested, detained or anything like that. But he has been labeled as a Dog fighting, weed smoking thug. The guy has never failed a drug test. McNair- pulled over and charged for DUI-AND HE WASN'T EVEN DRIVING THE TRUCK?!!! Rogers- allegedly groping in a strippers dressing room. need I say more? P. Kerney- a rape takes place at his house while he was there & hardly no coverage what so ever. Kircus- arrested and charged for second assault, no outcry for his head or calling him a thug. John Daly- shows up at a golf tournament with scratches all over his face, admits to having an altercation with his wife, and a well known drunk... 1 day of coverage. Please tell me does anyone besides myself see a pattern based on 1 difference. Just food for thought.

Or once this is done, he HAD a 6 year 46 million dollar contract. The guy has had issues with work ethic, drug suspensions, comes back from a 4 game drug suspension out of shape...... He's a great talent, but he needs to wake up and put his head on straight.
