Mickelson: I still have a shot

Phil Mickelson has been up and down and in and out of trouble all week at Ridgewood Country Club, and although he is in a tie for 21st after rounds of 71-70 at the Barclays, he is not ready to cede the tournament from eight strokes behind the leader, Steve Stricker. Mickelson's round was like a burro ride on a mountainside. He started at No. 1 and his scores went this way: birdie-bogey-birdie-bogey-birdie-bogey-par-par-par. Not a bad rhythm for a drumbeat, but not exactly what wins golf tournaments. Then again, he hit only 5 of 14 fairways and 11 of 18 greens. Undeterred, Mickelson is looking for his best.

thats his problem, he never punches out when under a tree or plays it safe when up by 2 strokes at the final hole of a major, he always thinks he has a shot!

This kind of crap continues to roll off his tongue and yet at the end of the day, he is as far back, if not further, than when he started. I wonder if he has a speech write like Bush??? Same old crap expecting different results. Time for Phillis to go back to breast feeding and get a haircut.
