it might actually help ricky to be on such a bad team....he will easily appear as the best player on the team and the contrast will help in his next contract negotiation

Yeah maybe or he could be stuck on one team like Barry Sanders(not comparing the 2) and retire early because of it

if he earns a new contract, it would overshadow any debt he would have to the fins...the question is whether he can earn that new contract....if he leads the league in rushing again, he could possibly renegotiate...then again, the last time he lead the league, he was high and now he might be more like popeye wthout his spinach

Comeback to what? The grass? Only time will tell, but I'll bet the grass wins again.

You don't know till it's over, but I hope he is successful. I don't know why I pull for him, but I do.

Ricky's a top 5 rb easy..with the new addition's at OL and a reasonable passing game under chad he might actually do well

I disagree. Tomlinson, Jackson, Westbrook, Addai, Barber, Peterson and many more are better.
