Willis not ready for Tigers rotation
In what he called "the lowest point" in his Tigers career, Nate Robertson was removed from the rotation Friday by manager Jim Leyland. Leyland didn't say who will take Robertson's spot in the rotation. The first time Leyland will need a replacement for Robertson is Tuesday night at Comerica Park against Cleveland 18-game winner Cliff Lee. Leyland all but ruled out left-hander Dontrelle Willis, who is still trying to reassemble his game at Triple-A Toledo. "The answer, as we speak today, is 100% 'no,' " Leyland said of the chances that Willis could start for the Tigers on Tuesday night.
