How Hornets will use Brown
The Hornets brought back a somewhat familiar face on Friday when the club signed swingman Devin Brown, who played with the team during its last exile season in Oklahoma City. Brown's addition adds depth at any number of positions, as the six-year NBA veteran pointed out. Brown, 6 foot 5, 210 pounds, primarily will be a shooting guard, but at times in 2006-07 when he was with the Hornets, who were playing without injured point guard Chris Paul and strong forward David West for much of the year, Brown played some at the point as well.

I'm not impressed. He's been in the league 6 years, and played for 5 different teams. A guard would certainly have been given the opportunity to show his metal in Cleveland. Then again, Chris Paul has elevated other players games.

Careful: That resume sounds an awful lot like another NBAer who moved around a lot then found a home; Chauncy Billups! Though I must agree with you... not much chance of him turning into a Billups.

if i'am the hornets i'am proud of this deal because the cavaliers had him last year and he was very very good and he was good in the playoffs too and he can shoot anywhere on the court and now that the hornets got james posey in the offseason now they have devin brown and james posey how can both shoot 3 balls and game winners for the hornets, and i look for the hornets to make it to the nba championship, no doubt this year
