Charleston Southern!!! You got to be kidding me. When did Miami U. stop playing Division I football???? That is pathetic.

And so it goes at Miami ,,,, Why do the Hurricanes always seem to have bad eggs on the their teams?

OMG! Is this game sanctioned by the NCAA? Charleston Southern was 1-3 in their division last year and 5-6 overall. I have seen Division III teams with a tougher schedule. The QB should be more upset if her were sat for a scrimmage against the third string.

For Miami to be so irrelevant, we still have a bunch of haters talking about us. "Thug U", that's old and played out, find something new to say. And Charleston being our first game. Name a school who doesn't play a team of such low caliber in the nation. Everybody has at least one game against a lower level opponent. Reason being, MONEY. Smaller schools have the potential of making more money from the game when they play bigger school. Idiots!!! All the major colleges and universities does it. Just let Miami be Miami. Quit hating on the U.....WAIT!!!, I take that back. Keep hating. As a matter of fact, start of new club and recruit 5 to 6 more of your kind. The more haters the better. It's makes winning that much sweeter.

Dude I hate to say it (even as a nole) but the canes are losing it slowly...when they lost coker its been all uphill. But I do agree that UF will run allllll over miami.

Charleston Southern? If they were serious about punishment at Miami they would at least take away his deserts.

It's hard to have enough hate left over for UM when UF is your big annual rival in the state of Florida. But somehow, we manage.

And Marve is not a bad egg. In comparison to most of the transgressions across the nation and centralized in schools like UF (see Meyer letting a kid who pulled an AK on someone and shot it in the air after running his "we only recruit the top 1 percent of the top 1 percent"-rhetoric around Gainesville for several years) this is a very minor situation... hence the small punishment. Which actually is a pretty big deal for him and the team as now we go into the Swamp starting a kid who's never taken a snap.

There is not a first round pic on Miami U. anymore, and because of all the "stuff" in their past, it is rather amusing that a once great football program has declined to the point that they will schedule a game against a team of the level ( certainly not Div. I) of Charleston Southern....Go look at their schedule in the past, you will not see such " cupcakes" as that....Admit it, it is a bit embarrassing to put them on the schedule...And everyone knows it.....And so do you. They are not a cupcake, they are a sacrificial lamb..
