06:50 AM ET 08.24 | Ty Law, who is still a free agent, remains the top option for teams looking for cornerback help. Law visited with the Jets and has spoken with both Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Browns coach Romeo Crennel. "I'm just training and getting ready to go," Law said. "I should be out there holding it down opening week. I have not decided which team I'm going to play with yet. I have to talk to my agent and family, and will make a decision soon."

at his age, he doesn't get to demand his salary anymore. just a matter of whoever offers him the most money.

August 24, 2008  08:15 AM ET

Ah what a waste of time.

August 24, 2008  08:23 AM ET

I bet the pats sign him to a one year deal

August 24, 2008  08:39 AM ET

Have you seen the Browns defense? Ty Law goes to the Browns.

August 24, 2008  08:54 AM ET

in his salery demands does it say he gets a case of ensure a week in his locker. who is his agent the A.A.R.P.?

August 24, 2008  09:06 AM ET

nah the pats are in trouble when it comes to the secondary i see a 1 year deal for him in new england

August 24, 2008  09:11 AM ET

Another reason why Romeo sucks as a head coach. He should be knocking on Phil Savages door 24/7 telling him to bring in Ty Law for one year. Two weeks in the row where the Browns D-backs are burned for a ton of yardage in the passing game. What was the Lions 100% on converting third downs?

Go Browns!!!

If you are not on a roster two weeks before the season begins, then i am not sure you can say no to anybody at any price.

If he still has enough left in the tank, why not.

Besides, they clip money-saving coupons.

jason that line is as old as your underware move-on to something new.as for ty-law he should finish his career where it began.

August 24, 2008  12:10 PM ET

If Law is as fat as he was in KC, he should just retire. I think Springsteen wrote a song about him............... Glory Days

August 24, 2008  12:39 PM ET

What an egotistical jerk to think he can walk in at the last minute and fit in seamlessly in a defense. I hope he falls far short of expectations.

August 24, 2008  01:01 PM ET

Browns NEED Ty.
Our Defense pretty much SUCKS BAD.

August 24, 2008  02:34 PM ET

Ty Law needs to spend some of those millions he has earned back in Alliquipa because it is a war zone.

Why would the Patriots try and fight the Law again? Law has a good chance to be a Brown real soon.
