Sandy Creek defensive end Brandon Putnam, who has committed to Duke, said he is hearing from Georgia Tech. I'm still being recruited by them," Putnam said. "I don't know what is taking so long for an offer. I know I'm on their [recruiting] board. They want to see some senior film." Tech has strong ties with Sandy Creek, alma mater of former Yellow Jackets All-America wide receiver Calvin Johnson.

When high school kids get to finally view what Johnson will do with this offense in a weak ACC in 2008,recruiting at Tech could improve drastically by December.

playing f-ball at dook is a 1 way ticket to nowhere...is starting on an 0-11 team worth it?

It's worth it, preach. Especially when he starts on a team that will finish .500 or better in 2 years. I know, I know. .500 ain't squat. But for Duke, being bowl eligible is a dream! And who thought Kansas FOOTBALL would've won a BCS bowl (against V.Tech) last year, let alone get to one!
